Estaz is a core-wrapped mylar similar in construction to chenille and is made to be palmered around the shank of a hook to add color and flash. It is also a good material to add bulk to squid flies or deep-bodied baitfish. Medium is 15mm in diameter and Grande is 30mm.
Pro Tip: For best results, be sure to fold back the fibers as you wind it up the shank.
