The Salvimar Metal Roller Speargun is a high-quality, high-performance roller gun built for both inshore reefs and open water usage. As with all roller guns, the Salvimar Metal Roller is much easier to load than a standard speargun because of its roller system that allows a smooth load and generates much more power than a standard gun of the same size. It creates more power due to the rubber being loaded from the bottom of the gun, and then wrapping around the top, so you're essentially getting twice the load length. Also, roller guns create minimal recoil which is fantastic for shooting at any distance, however comes in really handy for long distance shooting as it increases accuracy quite a lot. The trigger system on the Metal Roller spearguns utilises Salvimar's reverse sear system, which sets the mech to the back of the gun allowing extra room for rubber loading, thus a more powerful shot. The low sitting ergonomic handle is very comfortable and makes the gun easy to manoeuvre through the water, and also creates a better line of sight down the gun. This combined with the open muzzle roller head allows the best aim possible. The handle also includes the integrated Salvimar multi-mount for either reel, camera mounts, breakaway systems or roller band anchor hooks. It comes fitted with a 7mm spring stainless steel shaft: super strong, rust-resistant. It comes with a loading butt that's removable if need be.
